So, this month, I chose to tackle that huge pile of cardstock along with my button obsession collection AND needed practice with my new DIY Electronic Cutting Machine.
My recent toss pillow purchases dictated the color scheme.
For the sunrise beach scene, I used ink pads and white chalk to give the sky a bit of color and a few clouds. You can see it’s a very soft touch of blue and lavender.
The cutting machine whipped out my design in no time. I really wanted these creations to say “Summer”. π A few random buttons were glued to the center of the sun for texture. I thought about scattering a few clear buttons across the sand, but changed my mind.
The hummingbird frame is my favorite!
They really brighten my side table!
