‘So glad I stumbled across them this morning!
In February, we spent a week in Alabama celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary.
It happened to be raining our first day there, but we left our hotel room and enjoyed it anyway. 2016 was such a difficult year for us. This February vacation was exactly what we needed. Alabama is such a lovely state and that Southern cooking… Mmmmmm… It’s hard to beat!
These grainy pix were taken on Gulf State Park Pier using Handsome Husband’s phone. I didn’t want to get my big camera out in the windy, wet conditions.
These pelicans didn’t mind the tourists at all, probably realizing they are part of the attraction! What a gorgeous welcoming committee!
